The GEM Hotel is active in both the LGBT community and within our neighborhoods. We have been an annual sponsor of AIDS Walk New York and NewFest, the New York LGBT Film Festival. We are also a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. On a local humanitarian level we've supported community centers, as well as organized holiday clothes and food drives. We are continually lending a helping hand to various partner organizations within our neighborhood and community.
